In collaboration with several Saudi government bodies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, this new electronic travel authorization will enable all international travelers to obtain a transit visa when booking a flight with a Saudi airline. The visa will therefore be linked to an airline ticket. This service is available at all international airports in Saudi Arabia.
This new transit visa service has been created with a view to participating in the Kingdom's Vision 2030 project, which aims to welcome 100 million international visitors.
How to use this visa
As soon as you receive your plane tickets and your e-Visa transit approval, you can stay in the country. maximum 96 hours. It can be used for short stays for tourism, culture, business and also for the Umrah pilgrimage. If you are in transit, you can leave the airport or use it if you are leaving the international zone.
