USA Visa: a new procedure for Moroccans

Since March 24, the U.S. Embassy in Morocco has introduced a new requirement for visa applicants. From now on, it is imperative that the confirmation number/bar code (starting with "AA") on the DS-160 form corresponds exactly to the one used when booking an appointment online.

If the confirmation number/bar code on the applicant's DS-160 form does not match the number used to book the appointment, access to the interview will be denied. In this case, the applicant will have to make a new appointment to continue with the visa application.

The U.S. Embassy in Morocco stresses the importance of checking in advance that the barcode on the DS-160 form is the same as the one used to book the appointment. This precaution will avoid delays and ensure a smooth process.

For new appointment requests, the U.S. Embassy provides this link available.
